FingerTip Software presents The Holy Scriptures Screen Saver

This Windows screen saver presents you with your favorite scriptures
during those times when your not actively using your computer for other work.

This is a shareware package.  If you use it regularly, you must register
the software (described below) within 30 days, or remove it completely 
from your computer.  Please share this program with your friends.  The
only rule is that it must be distributed unmodified and in its original
zip file.

When you register you will receive the full package which includes a 
complete electronic copy of the Authorised Version (KJV) of the Holy
Scriptures as well as many additional high resolution images suitable
as backgrounds.

INSTALLATION:
- After downloading move the compressed file "ftscript.zip" to a 
temporary directory (not your WINDOWS directory).

- Unpack ftscript.zip using PKUNZIP.EXE (available on Compuserve) by 
typing (PKUNZIP ftscript.zip).

- Next run setup.exe (unpacked from "ftscript.zip")

- Follow the instructions.  If you have previously installed programs
that use VBX's or Microsoft Access database you may not need to install
all of the components. 

- If the install fails it may be due to already having some of the system
components that setup tries to install.  Try unchecking components in the 
install screen in order to perform a minimal installation.

- If you are running Windows 3.1 you will need to have SHARE.EXE loaded by
your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.  To do this, edit your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and 
enter the following line:
C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE
Windows for Workgroups users and Windows 95 users do not require this step.

RUNNING THE SCRIPTURE SCREEN SAVER:
The scripture screen configuration panel allows you to select one or
all categories of scriptures to view, or use it to create your own 
categories.  This panel is available under the desktop icon from the 
Control Panel application that comes with Windows.  Normally, the
Control Panel application can be found under your Main window group.
After clicking on the Desktop icon you can access all available screen 
savers under the Sceen Saver group.  Select "Scriptures" and click the
Setup button to the right.  Using the Scriptures Screen Saver setup panel
should be self-explanatory. Just give the settings a try.  You can't break
anything.

This UNREGISTERED version of scripture screen saver only allows you 
to add verses from the New Testament and comes with only one image 
background.
